Job Definition

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Configuration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OpenText Communications (Exstream), integrations, batch, invoice processing, letter template development, and experience configuring multiple output connectors.  The role requires a high level of analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of utility industry business processes, application & data security, communication skills and analysis of business requirements.  

Performs independent research within business to resolve business issues and process improvements. Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies complex business process. Performs functional analysis, technical requirements definition and application module configuration and testing. Works in all phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Is responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, creating and managing configuration and transaction/control tables. Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions.

Key Responsiblites

-  Support, maintain, and enhance small to mid-sized business applications.

-  Configure applications and develop scripts, integrations, and batch jobs to support business processes.

-  Design, develop, and maintain electronic forms, document templates, and automated communications.

-  Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate testing, upgrades, and deployments.

-  Partner with business users to gather requirements and implement configuration-based solutions.

-  Experience with OpenText Exstream, OpenText Communicator, or similar document and customer communication platforms is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

• Applications Configuration Engineer I:            $93,677 - $117,097 Annually 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field,

  OR

  • Four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in software engineering;

   

  Applications Configuration Engineer II:           $117,508 - $146,885 Annually

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field, AND
  • Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience in software engineering;

  OR

  • Six (6) years progressively more responsible experience in software engineering.

  Applications Configuration Engineer III:          $147,402 - $184,253 Annually

  • Masters’s Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field, AND
  • Three(3) years of progressively more responsible experience in software engineering;

  OR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field, AND
  • Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in software engineering;

  OR

  Nine (9) years progressively more responsible experience in software engineering.
