Position Information

Job Definition

Works cooperatively with the Manager of Treasury and Financial Risk Management to maintain the professional management of the District’s financing activities. Financing activities include but are not limited to: debt structure development, issuance, and management; design, implementation and operation of related compliance requirements including tax-exempt bond regulation compliance and reporting, arbitrage computation and analysis, and maintenance of bond related continuing disclosure requirements to ensure District financing programs are meeting current and future obligations; and design, operation, and reporting of financial hedging activities. Maintain the financial and management reporting of financing and investment programs. Maintain collaborative relationships with the District’s internal and external financing and investment partners. Maintain the periodic update of financing and investment policies and procedures. Support the District’s core values as well as its cost and fiscal management strategic priorities by working as a trusted financial partner with all divisions of the District.

Experience/Education

Treasury Analyst II: $79,300 - $99,132

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, AND Two (2) years of progressive experience in Treasury or other similar position;

OR

  • Six (6) years of progressive experience in Treasury or other similar position.

 

Treasury Analyst III: $111,410 - $139,264

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, AND Four (4) years of progressive experience in Treasury or other similar position;

OR

  • Eight (8) years of progressive experience in Treasury or other similar position.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic, or related field.
