Job Definition

Corporate Communication and Marketing is responsible for internal and external communications at the District. Members of the team produce a variety of materials including a daily employee newsletter, weekly employee newsletter, press releases, internal and external website, marketing materials, social media, graphic design, photography, video production and more. Team members are also responsible for the District’s education program which supports local educators, students and parents with information about topics such as electricity, hydroelectric generation and career opportunities. 


Corporate Communication and Marketing works closely with departments throughout the District to support their communications needs and promote their programs and the District’s mission and values. This work also includes participating in numerous community events and engagement opportunities throughout the District’s service territory

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of application.
• High School student or student currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or vocational program, working toward a degree or certification.


  • Current transcripts, progress reports, and/or student enrollment histories are required at time of application.
  • Proof of student status for upcoming quarter is required prior to hire.  Acceptable documents include:  current registration/enrollment notice, or letter of intent from Registrar's office, or student enrollment history, or tuition payment confirmation or cancelled check.
  • Must successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including testing for employment (if applicable).
