Job Definition

Assists with overseeing the District's educational programs for public, private and home school students. Plans, develops, implements, promotes, teaches, coordinates, and assists with evaluating the education programs offered by the District. Assists with supervising classroom teachers for the hands-on lessons. Participates in community engagement activities aimed at students and/or customers, including STEAM nights, field trips, and community events. 

Experience/Education

Public Education Programs Coordinator I $53,102 - $88,504

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, or a teaching license from any US state, OR
  • Four (4) years of classroom experience, or experience in a similar position at another public agency

Experience/Education

Public Education Programs Coordinator II $66,604 - $111,028

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, or a teaching license from any US state, AND
  • Two (2) years of classroom experience, or experience in a similar position at another public agency

OR 

  • Six (6) years of classroom experience, or experience in a similar position at another public agency

Experience/Education

Public Education Programs Coordinator III $83,556 - $139,264

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, or a teaching license from any US state, AND
  • Four (4) years of classroom experience, or experience in a similar position at another public agency

OR

  • Eight (8) years of classroom experience, or experience in a similar position at another public agency

Preferred Certification

Teaching Certificate from any US state
