-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendaring and data bases.
-Business writing, customer service and budget tracking skills.
-Depending on the position, required experience from none to 5 years.
-Typing at 35-60 wpm, 10-Key/data entry at 100-200 spm, Note Taking at 50-60 wpm.
Customer Service Representative-In-Training (CSR-in-Training) Positions
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Typing at 35 wpm.
-Basic math and financial records analysis, computer applications and software, reasoning, reading, language and writing skills.
-Knowledge of advanced customer communications and relations techniques.
Custodian Positions
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid Washington State Driver’s License
-Successful completion of a physical abilities test.
-Commercial janitorial practices and methods.
-Knowledge of equipment, supplies and chemicals needed to perform janitorial work.
Meter Reader Positions
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid Washington State Driver’s License, with good driving record.
-Basic mathematics, ability to read maps.
-Knowledge of customer communications and relations techniques.
Assistant Designer Positions (Engineering Career Path)
-AA degree in an Engineering related field OR High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related engineering, business or marketing experience or applicable technical education.
-Basic engineering sciences and mechanics, mathematics and its application to engineering computations.
-Record-keeping and customer communications and relations techniques.
-Computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
Entry Helper / Line Helper Positions
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid Washington State Driver’s License, with good driving record.
-Valid current Washington State Traffic Control (Flagging) Card.
-Basic math, reading comprehension, mechanical and spatial ability skills.
-Successful completion of a driving test and physical abilities test.
